No ILL on Friday June 20, 2008

ILLiad and the ILL/Doc Del web pages will be unavailable due to an upgrade scheduled on Friday, June 20^th.

Patrons will not be able to submit requests and circ staff will not be able to check out or discharge ILLs at Doheny. Please keep a manual log of charges and discharges until the system is back up.

Please note: there will be several days in July when the ILLiad pages will not be available due to a web page redesign. We will let you know when the system is back up on 6/20.

Web-based SciFinder Scholar is on the way!

Dear USC SciFinder Scholar users,

I am pleased to tell you that very soon you will be enjoying your SciFinder Scholar from the web-based support. USC S&E Library will get it in summer of 2008.

Once it is launched, the registration URL will allow faculty and currently enrolled students to create their own username and password.

Individual’s username and password are strictly confidential and may not be shared with any other person.
Individuals must have an active university email address in order to establish a username and password for the web version of SciFinder.
CAS may require passwords to be changed as needed.
