USC Libraries provide access to Springer books published from 2005 onward in e-format, plus full runs of Springer’s book series, totaling over 34,000 titles, with strong engineering and computer science holdings. I am pleased to announce that the *The Merck index : an encyclopedia of chemicals, drugs, and biologicals* (14th edition) is now online via the Knovel Library (Chemistry and Chemical Engineering subject) from USC Libraries.

To find it, please go to the Knovel Library (in Chemistry Subject page ), open the Knovel Library, and you will find “the Merck Index‘” in “Topic”. Please go ahead and use it in your research and study!

ILLiad and the ILL/Doc Del web pages will be unavailable due to an upgrade scheduled on Friday, June 20^th.

Patrons will not be able to submit requests and circ staff will not be able to check out or discharge ILLs at Doheny. Please keep a manual log of charges and discharges until the system is back up.

Please note: there will be several days in July when the ILLiad pages will not be available due to a web page redesign. We will let you know when the system is back up on 6/20.
